In the cool autumn wind, thewild geese flied from the north back to the south. At 5 pm of October 27, awonderful basketball friendly match was staged at the basketball court of theliving quarter of Great Aim Haiyun Xingwan project between Great Aim Group andChina Construction Third Engineering Bureau ( “the Bureau”).

As the whistle sounded, the match was officially kicked off. The players of both teams,directed by the referee, jumped for the possession of the basketball. The teamof Great Aim Group took the initiative to score two points. The team of theBureau also went all out to remain neck and neck. They grabbed the reboundscontinuously and launched quick attacks to score frequently. After theiradaptation and tactic trial in the first quarter, the team of Great Aim entereda more tacit cooperation in the second quarter. The teammates actively grabbedthe rebounds, ran flexibly and firmly controlled the tempo of shifting betweenattack and defence, picking and rolling for each other. Through organizing asecond attack after grabbing the defensive rebound, their score was 33:27 atthe halftime.
The match entered a white-hotstage at the third quarter. The team of the Bureau had not become chaoticbecause their score fell behind. Instead, they made a prudent choice to slowdown the tempo and passed each ball steadily. They ran actively to create chanceto launch inside attacks and reduced the score gap to two points. In the faceof such a strong and sensible rival, the Great Aim team did not relax at all.Instead, they remained decisive and steady in attacks and absorbed in defence.The teammates of both team fully highlighted themselves and unleashed the team’sstrength in the rounds of shifting between attack and defence, pushing thematch to climaxes one after another and winning heated applauds from theaudience at the site. In the fourth quarter, the Great Aim team increased thescore gap once again with their stable performance and kept their advantage tothe end. Finally, the Great Aim team defeated the Bureau team by a narrowmargin of 68:67.
