At 4:30 pm, in the joyful opening music, the awarding ceremony of 1st hard-tipped pen calligraphy of Great Aim Group & staff birthday party of May was kicked off. Yu Daoqun, president of the group and Zhao Riyun, administrative supervisor of the group, were invited to the awarding ceremony. The ceremony was attended by staff of the group and prize winners of the calligraphy competition.
The first hard-tipped pen calligraphy competition of the group reached a successful conclusion at the end of April, which received a warm response from staff of the group and more than 100 calligraphy works. The works were appraised under the principles of fairness and equity and scored by seven directors anonymously under the supervision and guidance of Chairman Yang Feng. Finally, Peng Guanjun and Li Xiongzhi won first prize; Xu Xiaoli, Guo Hui and Pan Xian won second prize; Liao Qing, Deng Beikan and Li Jianbang won third prize; Xue Hong and Zhao Qi won prize of merit. On the awarding ceremony, Yu Daoqun, president of the group, awarded the bonus, prize and certificates to the prize winners.

After the awarding ceremony, Zhao Riyun made an address. She said, on the (enlarged) board’s meeting held on May 11, Chairman Yang stressed again that the common development of staff and the enterprise was the vision of Great Aim and original intention of the boss. The staff and the enterprise grow together in career and accompany each other in life. The inheritance of traditional Chinese culture is an important component of the group’s corporate culture. Worried about the current status of calligraphy art, with an aim to rescue the gradually weakening traditional calligraphy art under the impact of computers, Chairman Yang donated 25 million Yuan to a calligraphy education project of Chinese Calligraphers Association at the end of 2016, which was used for cultivating teachers for brush calligraphy education of primary and middle schools nationwide. The calligraphy competition this time inherited and carried forward traditional culture and calligraphy, enriched the after-work life of staff, exhibited the staff’s talent and thus won high attention and recognition from Chairman Yang. Ms. Zhao said, she was very happy to attend the awarding ceremony and staff’s birthday party and witness the growth of all staff and the enterprise together; she also expected that in the future more diversified activities will be organized among the staff, so that the staff can have more chances to showcase their talent.

After the awarding ceremony, the staff’s birthday party of May was opened. The birthday-celebrating staff of the month got together with leaders of the group and co-workers of departments to sing birthday song, cut birthday cake and share birthday wishes. Also celebrating his birth in the month, Yu Daoqun blended into the activity joyfully. He said, he had seldom celebrated birthday for himself. Today it was the first time for him to celebrate birthday with so many co-workers. He was very happy and relaxed and felt much younger. He hoped that in the future he could also work and learn happily with everyone as today. Yu Daoqun also participated in two round of games with the birthday celebrating staff. The funny games were filled with passion, laughter and applause.
