　　On March 18,Zhuhai Federation of New Social Class(hereinafter called the Federation for short)was established.Li Yangchun,deputy director of the United Front department of CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee,Guo Caiwu,a member of the standing committee of CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee and director of United Front department addressed the event with congratulations.Yang Zhixiong was elected as the chairman of the first council of the Federation.

　　According to the statistics,so far,the number of new social class of Zhuhai is about 203,800,of whom,about 180,000 are managerial and technical staff in private enterprises and foreign enterprises registered in the city,around 21,500 are practitioners of various agencies and social organizations documented and registered in the city,1,370 are freelancers in the city,and around 510 are practitioners of new media and network opinion formers.

　　“In the past,new social class people were individuals that were relatively scattered and independent.Now they have a platform for mutual learning,communication and collaboration.”Yang Zhixiong,the first-term director of the Federation,executive vice chairman of the board of directors of Great Aim,said that the Federation will guide new social class people to make suggestions for the development of Zhuhai according to the actual conditions of Zhuhai.

　　Guo Caiwu said,the establishment of the Federation signified that the United Front work of the new social class of Zhuhai had reached a new level.In the next step,the United Front department of Zhuhai will take the lead to establish and perfect systems such as understanding the situation,regular discussions and feedback consultation,build platforms and carriers such as research council,consultation meeting and briefing event for the Federation and each member.It will invite new social class people to attend all kinds of decision hearings,consultation forums,participate in activities such as inspection and research,promote the establishment of information exchange mechanism between the new social class people and related governmental departments.It will recommend excellent new social class people to organizations such as People’s Congress and CPPCC at each level,trade unions,Communist Youth League,Federation of Women,Federation of Industry and Commerce and industrial associations and provide a bigger stage for the development of the Federation and the career and business of new social class people.

　　Li Yangchun hoped that the Federation will bring its own advantages into a full play,build a benchmark in such areas as political guidance for the new social class,serving economic and social development,cultivating and fostering non-Party deputies,exploring socialized and network-based operation,and provide favorable experience for the United Front Work of new social class in the province and even across the country.
