Great Aim donates 10 million yuan to support Zhuhai’s post-disaster reconstruction

　　After typhoon Hato landed,it had a huge impact on Zhuhai and drew great attention of all sectors of society.Huafa Group,Great Aim Group and many other enterprises in Zhuhai actively participated in the relief work.Great Aim Group announced donation,and Zhuhai International Convention&Exhibition Center,which is subordinate to Huafa Group,opened its venues to provide an emergency shelter for tens of construction units and over 10,000 workers in the Hengqin Island area.

　　Great Aim Group’s donation will be used in recovery of transportation facilities

　　Yesterday afternoon,Zhuhai Great Aim Group Co.,Ltd.(“Great Aim Group”)donated 10 million yuan through the Red Cross Society of Zhuhai to the Hato-affected areas.Yan Wu,Deputy Mayor of Zhuhai and Chairman of the Red Cross Society of Zhuhai,accepted the donation on behalf of the Red Cross Society of Zhuhai.It is known that this is the timeliest donation of the largest amount received by Zhuhai.

　　“Thank Great Aim Group for making a donation to Zhuhai in time and we will use this special fund in the recovery of Zhuhai’s transportation facilities as required by the donator.The night before yesterday,we quickly transferred the armed police in the surrounding areas to clear Zhuhai’s roads,and now Zhuhai’s arterial traffic has recovered.Meanwhile,we will complete other post-disaster recovery as early as possible and realize smooth water supply,smooth power supply,smooth roads and smooth communication,”Yan Wu expressed in the donation activity.

　　The number of people avoiding danger in Zhuhai International Convention&Exhibition Center is estimated to be over 14,000

　　Huafa Group’s Office of Safety Production Committee paid great attention to Hato’s attacking Zhuhai.Zhuhai International Convention&Exhibition Center actively cooperated with relevant departments and timely launched the contingency plan for fighting typhoon and avoiding danger.It opened its venues to serve as an emergency shelter.Starting from 19:00,August 22,Zhuhai International Convention&Exhibition Center provided an emergency shelter of 10,000㎡ for tens of construction units and over 10,000 workers in the Hengqin Island area.By 12:00,August 23,the center has received more than 7,000 people avoiding danger,and this figure is estimated to be over 14,000.As the number of people avoiding danger is still rising,to ensure a safe and comfortable environment,the center is to open a venue space of 20,000㎡.

　　The reporter of Southern Urban Daily has known that Zhuhai International Convention&Exhibition Center actively cooperated with the Hengqin Island area to organize vehicles to transport workers and provide sufficient drinking water and other goods and materials in the emergency response.In addition,the center creatively provided a convenient way of QR code scanning for the people avoiding danger to register their information,so that the center could better manage the workers on the spot while ensuring orderly distribution of goods and materials.The center staff conducted timely emergency treatment of the leakage points in the venues and tried their best to ensure power supply and good operation of air-conditioning system in the venues so as to provide a safe and comfortable environment for those avoiding danger.

　　It is introduced that Zhuhai International Convention&Exhibition Center has the experience in dealing with extremely severe weather.In 2016,typhoon Nida landed,which was known as the fiercest typhoon attacking Guangdong Province in nearly 22 years,and the center immediately provided an emergency shelter of 10,000㎡ for more than 10 construction units on Hengqin Island and about 2,000 workers in the Cross Gate area.
